Nudity

I cannot stand people who sexualize nudity. Like, you can tell when something is trying to be suggestive and when it's not. For example nudity in art can resemble beauty, purity, morality, ect.

A good character example of this was in the transformation of awakened Pure Vanilla cookie, or any transformation (mostly magical girls). The meaning of him gaining the kindness and enlightenment he was looking for was the whole point of his awakening (this is even stated in the wiki of him being more gentle and kinder). Instead, the fandom watered down this scene to him being freaky, some going as far as to being serious about him "flashing us"? And yes, I understand it was mostly a joke but many people were very serious about this "joke."

In early art, nudity was so common (examples being greek art and statues), but in later art, its meaning and significance is being watered down by gooners who live in their mom's basement, rent free. It slightly saddens me because I find the art of nudity so beautiful and it can be so much more than just a character being "freaky" or "sexual."

Now I can understand why people think this way and it is due to media (pornos) being planted into our brains. This causes use to think nudity leads to being suggestive. People should trill try to put more thought into characters and think of the reasonings of why they may be nude. You can easily tell the difference if a character is meant to be suggestive and not.

Every time someone makes nudity automatically suggestive, an angel looses its wings.

agreed. it's very disappointing, disgusting to see the statues getting touched, petted in their intimate areas. i like the way nudity was shown in evangelion. i like greek statues. i wish people thought with their upper head, not the bottom one
