What could I be doing? 

hand sewing and stitching techniques, using a sewing machine, creating/ altering patterns, measuring, designing garments, constructing garments, embellishments, ruffles, different material types, silhouettes, garment types, embroidery

Material source (2nd hand clothing); some previous experience; use of sewing skills in real life 

CONS

home access to sewing machines; time consuming to learn; learning to use a sewing machine first may slow progress

What could I be doing?

Sculpting, clay, joining clay, kilns, glazing, busts, paper sculpture, techniques, making basic shapes, making fine details, metal wire, joining wires, making sound structures, conjunction of multiple mediums, fabric or clay on a wire frame, clay over a paper base sculpture 

inspiration from ancient Greek sculptures

range of material options; differs from previous work; materials could be found in the home

CONS

ceramics would be difficult outside of school; number of tools needed; storage of projects
