Hi gamerz. As you might have noticed, I might have a slight obsession with Reigen Arataka from the hit manga/anime Mob Psycho 100, so I did what any normal girl does when she has a blonde conman loser on her mind 24/7.

That's right! I played not one but TWO Reigen dating simulators! Itch.io is a wonderful place!

And like any normal girl, I'm obviously going to review these two games for anyone interested enough to read about about a Reigen Arataka dating sim in the 1st place.

Keep in mind that this isn't any professional game review or anything nd I actually never reviewed something so.. yeah. if you really want more depth you can check the games by yourself, I'll link them

Reigen Date Game by Ash

Starting off with this one! 

Despite its super cute aesthetic and amazing artstyle, Reigen Date Game DEMO is unfortunately still an unfinished game as stated in the title. It’s been labeled as a demo since 2023, and hasn't had any updates for a year.

It’s a shame because it has an interesting mechanic of having to win three hearts to be able to ask him out but.. yeah the game still hasn’t got to this part. You’re only able to ask him some questions about himself, work, etc, win the hearts then the game stops here for now. And I don’t think it will ever be finished cuz the dev seems to have moved fandoms (they made that one Ford Pines dating sim iirc) soooo yeah I was kinda disappointed to learn that. 

The game is approx. 15 minutes long.

I'm... not really a fan of the soundtrack, not gonna lie. But I can't judge as I know nothing about music, just saying I personally don't really like it.

There has been some sort of update though, a different release of the same demo except you celebrate Reigen’s bday… haven’t played it cuz I don’t think anything changes from the original game really, except some additional dialogue n Reigen wearing a bday hat. 

Overall, I'll rate it 3 stars out of five. I really hope it gets finished someday!

Reigen Arataka Dating Simulator by Xylo Bayo

Despite its very… 2000s anime look and wrong color palette (pretty sure it's intentional), this game is genuinely hilarious. 

You can tell the dev had fun making it. At NO point I knew where this was going. 

There aren’t really any mechanics except the classical “your choices have consequences” meaning there are multiple endings. And let me tell you, getting the good ending was SO SO hard for no reason but the bad ends were funny so loosing didn’t bother me that much. Beside, you can always save n go back so it's not too annoying. 

Getting all the ending would take a bit less than an hour of gameplay. I think. I didn't time myself

I think there are two bad endings, one normal ending and one good ending. All worth a shot!

The soundtrack is actually super good, I sometimes let the game play in the background just to listen to it because I can't find it anywhere on the internet xdd

This one is a finished game unlike the other one! (also... SERIZAWA CAMEO!! for 5 seconds. BUT STILL! I love him!!) if you want to make fun of Reigen or vice-versa, go play it! Very worth it. 

5 stars for me!! Hope the dev will make more games!

Soooo yeah! I think that concludes my little reviews! While checking itch.io earlier, I saw there was another finished game including Reigen, except it's not us (the player) that got to romance him... it's Serizawa! Will def check it out ^^
