OK so that was big, if you haven't seen it go and watch it!!!!
Rundown to people who don't care, the doctor gets a haircut from his favorite barber, which is now under the control of a new guy, and he's taking everyone's stories to power and engine, so he can kill the gods.
BUT, what did I think? It was amazing! Honestly Ms. Flood appearing in the middle of the EP was such a nice relief, and the story (haha get it) was peak. The characters mostly well fleshed out, though the customers felt a bit bland. The Nexus (or the world wide web) was very interesting story wise, and gave the Barber a extremely believable motive, in that he was uncredited for all the work he did. It also works well as a metaphor for the internet which I feel was something we've been getting a bit this season, like in The Robot Revolution and Lucky Day.
Jo Martin's cameo as The Fugitive Doctor was incredibly nice and worked well in the story, but it felt short enough that she may appear again in the season but I'm not sure. The ending too felt very natural, and right for the stories progression, my only qualm with it was the doctor getting out of the barbershop scenes tension was lacking, otherwise the ending was really good.
8/10 but might be higher on a re-watch, if you like doctor who go and watch this!
