Smooth Love
Your heart beats on me like the sun above
There’s an omen in your heart, a dove
And there’s waters in your heart, that I dove
My heart burns for you, as atop a stove
Without you my heart is diced, as a clove
In every corner of my mind, you rove,
I fell hard for you, with a shove
It’s such a wonderful yarn that we wove,
It’s soft like your smooth love
Wonder
Shock and awe, power in words and feeling
I behold your form, and grace
Silent singing, a serenade and trust, beauty and wonder
Words so primitive shaped to paintings, borne of passion
Paintings to escape my words, and music to tie together
Her Eyes
Sometimes, I look in her eyes
Even so far away, they look so alive
In my bed, I wear her warm imaginary arms
When I think hard enough,
I can almost feel her hand in mine
I’m strong, I can hold on,
But it’s been so, so, so long
My hands are so tired, without her touch
But it’s alright
Having her is enough
