RRR | Pt. 13 - Patience (Reo's Random Rants)

Patience is a very important skill to have, it's a lesson taught to me by my oldest brother. He taught me that the good things in life don't come easy, and especially don't come instantly. You have to wait for the good things to come to you. He taught me that with time and hard work, life will return the favor, but the one thing he never taught me was how long I had to wait.

I've been through several trials, several bad experiences, yet somehow I haven't found my moment of happiness yet. How much more of my time do I have to give until life decides it's finally my turn to win. I'm always stuck having that feeling of false hope that things are finally going to go my way, and they always end due to unfortunate circumstances, it's not fair. Why must I continue to get hurt, to be let down, to be crushed down to my last hope, just for life to finally think it's my time to win? Why must I suffer in order to succeed? Why give me all of these trials, all of these experiences, all of this false hope, why?

I understanding the saying "One must go through Hell before they experience Heaven", but how much more Hell must I be put through until it's enough? How much time do I have to give before it's my turn to finally win? This is a question I've been asking myself for a long time, and I really hope to get my answer soon.

Understand that life comes with both good and bad experiences, but to reach those good experiences you must be patient and dedicated. Don't expect to succeed right away, life has hills and ridges that you must get through before reaching success. Don't let these questions sway you from reaching your goal, keep up hope and work hard towards your goal, whatever it is. With patience, comes paradise.
