okok so, to be so honest, as much as i like sharing poetry, i think it's time i share my own.
now, before i spit this out, this is coming from a giant notebook full of little thoughts id take with
me to the park or to family events or parties honestly. it sound stupid when i say that but to me its a lot like taking photos. instead of capturing a moment of importance visually, i just kind of visualize it in my head and write it down in my own way.
that being said, i am really NOT proud of these, in fact i rather really don't like them, but i thought really there is only one way to start somewhere.
so bahh, ill shut, here it is

May Twenty-Second, by Kaitlyn (me!!)
------------------------------
This May Twenty-Second,
I will see a summer sky.
This May Twenty-Second,
Forever Ignorant I will remain.
As I daydream about
Where you might be,
Who has your eyes,
Who has your heart.
Not that I miss these things,
This May Twenty-Second,
I grieve them.
Your eyes.
Your heart.
This May Twenty-Second,
Marks One Thousand Ninety Five Days,
I haven't seen your eyes,
I haven't seen your heart.
Maybe it's about time,
That I change.
That I throw away
That checkered sweater,
But keep the polaroid of me wearing it.
This May Twenty-Second.
