finally watched vertigo

sorry to say this but,, it was disappointing

hitchcock is already one of my fav directors even tho ive seen only two movies of his (psycho and rope, i love them!!) so my hopes were high. and okay the story was interesting. im sure if someone sat down with me and told me they had this idea for a movie and then proceeded to just tell me the plot of vertigo, id enjoy it. i just didnt like the execution

like the plot twist was delivered in a way that i wasnt even sure if it was the plot twist. it wasnt very surprising either. at one point i was very much able to tell where it was gonna go from there

still, i like the ending. actually, i think the whole movie is nice, just not something for me. kinda a shame cuz i was really excited to watch it but oh well
