Playing Basketball and Losing Touch

Played basketball with the homie today for the first time in a while and let's just say that I am pretty garbage rn. The stamina isn't too much of an issue but I just couldn't get anything to drop and I feel like I was lagging behind a majority of the time I played him 1v1. Not only that its like I couldn't stop fouling the man whatsoever any time he tried a jumpshot. My body control isn't what it used to be and I know I'll get it back with time and practice but it kinda just felt like I was a crash dummy out there.

 What frustrates me isn't the fact that I couldn't score, that's always been an issue in terms of how I play (considering my background in sports is with football and baseball). It's the fact that my body isn't keeping up with my mind. My reactions are slower. My feet aren't as stable as they used to be. I know building back what I had won't happen overnight, but I just needed to vent my frustrations. 

One thing for sure though, it's time to get back in the lab; summer is right around the corner.
