An anime club won "Student Organization of the Year" (2025).

With somewhere around 90 clubs on our college campus—ranging from big sports teams to long-established religious organizations—the odds were stacked against us.

And yet… somehow, an anime club won Student Organization of the Year.

I’m not the best at showing gratitude, but to my brigade members who’ve supported me since obtaining this organization in 2023—when this club was on the verge of collapse—thank you. You believed in me. You let me take the lead and try something wild. You helped me bring it back.

Every Friday for the past two years has been an unforgettable ride. Through all the highs and lows, the laughter and tears, the fights and the teamwork—we built something real. Something that mattered.

Together, we created a community that didn’t just survive—
We thrived.

This award isn’t just a win for us—it’s proof of what can happen when a bunch of passionate, awkward, brilliant otaku drop their walls and come together.

To every brigade member new and old, every late-night Phantasy Star player, every brave soul who showed their strange otaku interests at our meetings—this is our victory.
