Why do I feel like the music after 2020 is sooooo boring ?? Everything now is to be TikTok trendy >:(
I miss the old music, when music had meaniiinnggg !!!
bring back fun songs like for exemple the pop punk type of music of the 2000s ...
I genuinely cannot like the trendy songs, and music in general of todays age :/ Something is always off idk how to explain

true but that wouldnt be original anymore if u get me.. like okay if we repeat history, lets say it like that, wouldnt that be boring as well? also yeah i do agree that songs nowdays are more bold and meaningless but some of them aren't. like people might get to enjoy brat by charli xcx and people get to enjoy gnarly by katseye so uhh i guess its more likely based off preferences

EXACTLY, everything sounds the same now bc it’s ALL commercial stuff, made to last a few months, played on all the radio every day, at parties and discos, and then DISAPPEAR bc it starts to get boring. by now almost all of the new artists of today(and even the old ones who want to be famous again)to earn money try to make the hit of the moment when in reality it’s the same as all the others and you can hear VERY WELL the difference of those who make music bc it’s their passion and they do it with love and those who make music just for 💲💲

yeah it's so rare to find good music from nowadays that I like. Everything sounds so artificial. And when artists try to "bring back the 2000's vibe" I can totally tell the song is made recently. And I ADORE 2000's Pop Punk but theres no current band that is really able to capture that feeling from earlier times, I mean sure it's 2025 and music changes but somehow it still doesn't hit the same

Ugh for real, I miss ACTUAL fun music like those bubblegum dance songs from the 90s (like Aqua who made Barbie Girl or ToyBox and their various songs that kind of blew up recently because of animation memes).
I don't understand why people just stopped making happy n catchy songs like that TT now they're either made to blow up on tik tok, with only the chorus being good and the rest of the song being rushed or either like sad but not the kind of sad that is good and listenable... if that makes sense
