She says I can't cook! I don't get it — she says what I make isn't real cooking. But I can cook noodles, tomato sauce, pizza, eggs, and stuff... salad too, I guess. I can even cook meat! So why does she say I can't cook?

What’s her cultural background? That might affect what she perceive as “real cooking”. For me “real food” has rice, soup, and multiple other dishes. Don’t stress though! You seem to know enough cooking to survive that’s what matters
