HELLO!
ITS MATT! I had a serious issue with spending entire days in my bed DOOM SCROLLING! After constant abuse to my attention span/dopamine and realizing I was borderline depressed, I quit social media! Not for long ofc I eventually downloaded everything again, rinse and repeat type deal. After loosing my current gf at the time and realized she moved on already, I fully jumped on the train. Eager to slay the misery, I forced hobbies and activities on myself and now still trying to continue with this.
I feel social media is a curse that still haunts me(if posting this here wasnt obvious enough) I may not have Instagram or snapchat anymore, but still I abuse YouTube and have an average phone screen time of around 5-6 hours(had 10-8 few years back), I have made more time for more REAL things. Ive even become more Intune with my faith.
CONCLUSION!
Everything in moderation is fine, I LOVE THE INTERNET! But if you are chronically online just do me a favor and sorta try to comprehend your place in this life, you ARE amazing in many ways but might never get the chance to see it. You and I have little time and I'd hate for us to spend it all on a screen!
