boys arguing abt god and flat earth

This is gonna be a long one.

So like. earlier today I sat near these boys, one which I recognized from my 3rd grade class. I knew it would be awkward for me to sit near them cuz nobody likes to sit near each other unless they're close friends but it was either that or sit near the wannabe gangsters. Anyway.

They were talking about normal stuff for the first half of the day but then it started spiraling into an argument about whether the Earth is flat or not (and some other topics I'll get to). The other kid (the one I didn't know) was a maaajor flat-earther and a religious nut. He was arguing like "so why don;t you see the curve of the earth???!!/!?" when showing my former classmate an image, and he goes "cuz they're not high enough dumbass" and then somehow it transitioned into how just Adam and Eve would populate the whole earth cuz incest usually causes deformities in their children and if repeated through enough generations, will end with like premature death or somehting like that. And the religious kid just kept changing and adding to his stories, it was wild.

I kinda got involved a little because why not. I mostly just stayed silent and laughed at the whole thing cuz like, it's funny as shit. When the argument went back to flat earth, I told the kid "erm if the Earth is flat, how come it's nighttime in China rn??" and the dude just kinda acknowledged me but didn't add anything meaningful. My former classmate was trying to get through the kid's skull that the earth is round but the kid was like "errrmm wouldn't we slip off??" Like. dude.

There was a little bit abt WW2 and stuff and the kid was like "how do we know WW2 happened???" and i was like dude. The diary of Anne Frank??? Hello???? and we have PICTURES???? Do you have pictures of God???? No???? It's all paintings bro he's not real

Some other boys sitting near me were equally as confused as I was. Like we would just look at each other like "wtf is this guy talking abt". There were two other other kids who fuckin. Agreed with the religious kid?? erm ????

I could go on abt it some more but im tired and I gotta work on my theme. Remember this is not an attack on religion
