Book Blogging Inquiry

Trying everything in my power to get back into readingΒ (β•₯﹏β•₯)

I used to get through maybe 2-3 books a WEEK. Like full novels and finishing series. Love one-offs though. Now I find it hard to keep engaged with it.

Would anyone be interested if I blogged about books when they are finished? Almost like using SpaceHey blogging as a book journal and hopefully be able to get feedback on my writing style as well as recommendations.

Just a bookworm hoping this will help encourage me to read like I used to againΒ (α΅•β€”α΄—β€”)

Gah I feel you! As a kid I used to finish such thick books and refuse to put books down. I kept up my habit of buying books but my habit of reading books dwindles into nothingness. And now I own a bookshelf full of books I bought that I have never read. EESH.

Best of luck to both of us on our reading revival journey!

I recommend reading:

- His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman

- Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (very different from the Ghibli movie and in my opinion, much better!)

- The Secret Garden

- Golden Kamuy by Satoru Noda (This is my favorite manga ever. Still counts as reading!)

- Captive Prince Trilogy by CS Pacat (READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS before proceeding with this book please! It's not that bad imo but you never know. I admit, I have't read these books since I was 16 but I remember thinking it was peak fiction at the time. I've been thinking about re reading them.)

Let me know if any of these pique your interest and if you start reading any of them! I can help you pirate them for free if you need :)
