Hello. I did the playtesting of my racer and this time i had conducted it differently to how i used to. For one, i chose people who were fellow developers.
the first person i had playtest my game was Acelin. I have never talked to this person outside of this playtest, however the feedback they gave back was very informative. i believe its because they are aware of the conventions and feedback i would need to improve my game as they are also doing the IGB unit. they expressed that i needed to improve the spawning of my hazards.
This was done to reduce the ability of staying in one safe spot and gaining free points.
Furthermore, they said that my game needed sound. So i added a soundtrack from the free asset store to the background and making it play once the scene starts and looping once it finishes.
Furthermore, i had added projectile sounds to make it obvious when the button input has been pressed.
Finally, i draw up some enemy designs at this point in order to replace the car assets and to make it fit with the rest of the game.:
