Recently I decided to cave in and watch Interstellar for the first time (mostly because it was free on YouTube). I've always been a huge fan of Nolan's work and people have praised this movie for years so i decided to give it a shot. I regret not doing it sooner. This is one of the few movies that I can genuinely call beautiful. From the soundtrack to the space scenes, to dialogue, even science behind all of it. Everything about this movie is amazing that it could be an artwork in a museum. Especially the black hole scene and the first wormhole. The story is also amazing (although very confusing) it really gives that sense of wonder and discovery as if we really were part of the crew and exploring these planets for the first time and even wondering if these planets are the answer to humanities future. I believe that this movie also has one of the best and saddest twist ever of COOPER being "them." It really makes re watching the movie more painful as we know that Cooper is trying to stop himself from leaving Murph. Mostly anything that has something to do with Earth is the saddest part of the movie since we see Coopers life that he could've experienced slip away in the matter of hours.

One of the few movies that made me cry.

The scene where he's reunited with Murph breaks my heart every time. That sense of cosmic awe throughout the whole film makes moments like that all the more visceral.
