Sunday's for American Idiots

Sunday I went with my dad to see my school's production of Green Day's American Idiot[the rock opera/musical, not the album]

I ate some high fiber cereal with some almond milk before heading out.

Outfit that day was the vest I had just bought, a phoenix tshirt, skinny gray jeans, a skelanimals Diego beanie, rubber band bracelets, the broken heart necklace, bite me earrings,  and my glow in the dark vans. Sadly my converses[which even have "wake me up when september ends" on them XI] were still soaking wet, so I had to do the next best thing. I also didn't have any Green Day merch for the show sadly.

We got our tickets, and sat down in the mainstage room.

The play itself was quite the mixed bag. Me and my dad agreed that the sound mixing was not good[mics kept cutting in and out and were not balanced well.] The leads were great, but the guy who played this drug demon could not sing, at least, not these kinds of songs. That, and American Idiot's pop-punk sound does not work well as a musical. Musicals tend to be over the top and absurd, not the more anarchist and rebellious sounds of pop-punk. Funny enough one of the leads was someone that I knew since my freshman year of high school.

Afterwards, we went to a hot pot place, and chatted about many, many things[too many things to list]

I got a miso broth, ramen noodles, cuttlefish balls, shrimp dumplings, spinach, a pina coolata daiquiri, and something called china bread[it was like a bun.]

We parked at the mall, but lost the car because neither of us could remember where it was parked. Keep in mind that the mall here is huge, and the garage even more so. It was like 7 floors with at least 5 sections per floor. We found it eventually.

Went home after, did some homework, took a bath, and that was it.
