GRADUATED YIPPEEEEEEE

I GRADUATED !!!!!

Its been so long since I've been on here, and so long since I've been able to do anything ;-; but I finally graduated and I'm FREE.

We all completed our films. Last time I blogged I was still working on my layouts for my film, but in terms 5 and some of 6, we did all the animation for our films which was hell. It was fun, I'll definitely miss the late nights I spent working with my boyfriend and our friends, but I'll tell you, animating 7 days a week for a minimum of 10 or 11 hours a day for 10 weeks straight was mentally and physically exhausting. It was way worth it though, I had fun, and seeing my film 100% completed on the theatre screen, and seeing everyone laugh was really rewarding. The entire 8 months of work was automatically worth it, and I got a reward for funniest film! My family and friends and everyone thought my film was so funny, and that makes me so fucking happy. I'm very proud of myself. I know it's just a school film, I'm trying not to be too proud about it since it's not the only accomplishment I should be aiming for, but really this year was so tiresome and I'm just happy it's done.
At first, I was so restless because the final days of school + grad went by so fast, I got home and I was like "oh ok.. now what?". I've been at school every single day including weekends for a year straight, it was really weird to all of a sudden have literally all the free time in the world. I'm gonna submit my film to film festivals definitely, but I'm holding off on finding a job in animation because the industry is really in the shitter right now. What I plan on doing is getting some random retail job and practicing my art in the meantime, even if the industry was in a better place, I don't think I'm ready for it yet.

I met my boyfriend's parents at grad, and I spent the day with them a couple days after. We all spent the day together, it was a lot of fun and I had a really nice time. I'm so glad I was able to meet them properly, even if there was a language barrier. They're all so sweet and silly, they're such an amazing family. My boyfriend also met my family, which was interesting to say the least. Seeing my mom and dad in the same room is really uncanny to me, but I think it went okay.

I met so many friends at school, and I'm so sad I wont be able to see them every day. During animation, I kinda shut myself out and only talked to my boyfriend, I was really fucking stressed and was way too anxious to really talk to anyone. I should've spent more time with everyone though, because they're all going back to their home countries and I don't think I'll see them for a while ;-;

Like I said, ever since grad I've had all this free time, I have so much I wanna do but it's weird. I just either sit on my phone the whole day or I sleep or something. I find it difficult to get into my hobbies again because there's so much to do with such little motivation. I even wanna draw but I get so upset with myself because nothing ends up working out when I try to draw. I'm just trying to enjoy the peace and quiet though. I made a bucket list of things I wanted to do once I graduate.

- Rewatch my favorite shows/watch new shows
- Finish some of the games I haven't completed yet
- Decorate my room a bit more
- DEEP CLEAN my room
- Finish Odus' lore
- Maybe start baking more, from scratch this time

 I've visited my boyfriend a couple of times, I went out with my friends last night, but other than that I'm just at home. I'm not worrying too much, My mom, grandparents, cousin and I are going to Disneyland on the May long weekend, so that's something cool to look forward to. I've never left Canada before so it'll be an interesting experience going to the states for the first time. I know for a fact I'm gonna snatch some boxes of that Spongebob mac n cheese, because goddamn they don't have shit like that here.

My boyfriend said to draw today to get my motivation up, so I might do that, and then clean my room. It's not SUUUPER messy, but I really do need to go through my clothes and find some to donate. I don't wear a lot of the clothes I have now.
