Google is almighty. Someway, somehow, I can always trust Google to find what I need. However, in this day and age, Google also creates your needs. Advertisements are meant to create desires for products, that consumers never even "knew they had". How do they do that? By tracking your online moves and behavior and collecting that sweet, sweet data. We all know this, and know it's kinda creepy, but our need for the internet and all of Google's nifty lil' tools is too great for most of us. In terms of (a sliver of) transparency, sites like Google and Facebook do show what data they have collected and what the 'online persona' they have built up for you consists of. The personalized ads you're shown by Google are based on what they think your interests are. Today, I am going to find out who Google thinks I am through Google Ad Settings!
