people should be kinder actually

this point's been made time and time again but it remains true because DAMN
people are meanies :(
but seriously, anonymity really brings the worst in people doesn't it?
it's like that one trope of "who you are in the dark", if there were no* consequences and you could do (say in this case) what you want, you'll probably do things you wouldn't normally do (unless you were a super nice and awesome protagonist)
even irl with basically Zero Anonymity people are really mean it's weird
wdym you're gonna judge people for stuff they can't control/stuff that doesn't matter

big step in slowly undoing this (at least on a per-person level) is to try to put yourself in others' shoes as much as you can
