little miss sunshine - thoughts

this is gonna be a collection of my random thoughts so it might get a little messy. sorry

first off, ive seen this movie for the first time back when i first got disney+. it was part of my effort to watch every single paul dano movie (..danonation.... i still think abt you..) and how did that turn out? i got bored after a few. but tbh recently i sort of got the motivation to start watching dano movies again so... maybe ill get there eventually

but im not gonna talk only abt my everlasting love for paul dano (i still have a place on my wall dedicated to him) so back to little miss sunshine

i rated it 5 stars cuz even 4.5 seemed like not enough. sure, maybe sometimes i got a little bored or annoyed but i dont really mind it. i just let myself enjoy the characters and their interactions and omg this movie is just so positive. and also a little bit depressing

i mean i saw ppl on letterboxd talk abt how it caused and cured their depression but honestly i didnt really see that 'caused depression' part

its weird cuz i generally dont like kid characters in any sort of media but i really like olive! id actually love to have her as my sister

and dwayne!!! i love dwayne!!! and im totally not looking at a picture of him on my wall right now!!!

i feel like i wanted to write so much more but i forgot all abt it lmao (tbh i feel like i always have much more to say abt things i dont like) ig i can tell you that maybe ill write some more thoughts on movies (i try to watch them daily with mixed results) and books. maybe even comic books cuz i love to rant abt the newest deadpool releases
