Did Triceratops Eat Bones?

a triceratops dinosaur with three horns stands on top of a giant halved lemon and drinks from a juicebox

When looking up Triceratops, I found out it's suspected that they had skin/scales similar to that of an Alligators, even though many people draw Triceratops with pachyderm-like folds of skin. So I looked up alligators and I think it helped me draw the scales better for this peice! I still have a long way to go, but I'm glad I'm getting better :)

I wish so bad I could see a real dinosaur as it was when it was alive!

Who knows what they really looked like! Maybe their skin sparkled like the facets of a disco ball and blinded predators, we don't know!

Fun fact about many modern Ungulates (a type of Herbivore that includes Deer and Giraffe):

They are drawn to carcasses, as they eat the bones of other animals to supplement magnesium and calcium into their plant-based diet. So deer and giraffes are just... out there... being bone-eaters. Eating bones. Honestly, the world seems kind of cooler now that I know this.

My question is, did herbivorous dinosaurs  do this?

Did Triceratops eat bones straight from the carcass?

Nature, you wild.
