I just finished Severance season 1. It was AMAZING

Please, don't discuss anything past season 1 in the comments.

The tension throughout the season finale was crazy... I could feel my heart beating at multiple parts. I haven't had a show make me feel like this in a while.

The metaphors about work culture, corrupt corporations, and employee mistreatment are obvious, but the show does a great job of not making the show just about the metaphor. It's got a very good story that is much more than a vehicle to push a message, but its still got plenty of interesting parallels to the real world.

There's still so many questions to be answered and so many interesting paths for this show to take. Just season 1 has made this probably one of my top shows. I can't wait to watch season 2!

Spoilers (my thoughts for each of the employees after the finale):
Mark: I wonder what's gonna happen with Gemma, and how everyone is gonna react to Mark screaming "SHE'S ALIVE" just before the OTC ended. Also, what is she even doing? Do they have her outie locked up or something?

Helly: Holy shit, she's an Eagan! That explains why her outie was so insistent on keeping Helly down there... and why she's such an asshole. I hope people take what she said seriously, and hopefully this is something that will be publicized and not just contained within that building.

Irving: Poor Irving... something I wonder is if his outie even knows he's gay. Would be interesting if he didn't. Also, so much for "the mission comes first."

Dylan: I hope Dylan gets a chance on the outside as well. His character development has been great, it was very noble of him to put aside seeing his kid to let the others have a chance.
