In short, Walmart bought the Monroeville Mall, and so far there's no certainty as to whether or not the mall will remain intact or if they'll destroy it and build a Walmart. If they put a Walmart inside the mall while leaving it in fact, it's one thing, but our concern is that they'll destroy it. The mall has business and even when it's not Living Dead Weekend, it's active like an amusement park. The mall is a Hotspot for Dawn of the Dead fans who come from all over the world to see it, and it brings in money for local businesses.
