I love linux!!
I've been using linux for the past 4-5 years now, and frankly, i love it. I've been a stan for technology for the past i don't know how long ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, and i doubt that i there's anything else as cool as linux in terms of operating systems!!!
It's been such an educating experience just mucking around with linux, learning how everything works, messing up the bootloader because i got too confident, deleting my disk partition almost losing like some data, the whole shebang. But honestly, it was fun as hell! I know not many people will relate, but messing around with stuff is incredibly fun (๑⁍᷄ ꇴ ⁍᷅ ๑), the other day i did a little electrolysis experiment and collected chlorine gas, then another day i mess around with microcontrollers, do arduino stuff another, mess around with pcbs the next. I love tinkering with stuff and that's exactly what linux allows me to do.
If you feel like you're being tracked a bit too much by windows, if you feel like microsoft is getting a bit too ballsy with their adverts, if you just don't like the AI features that microsoft stuffs down your throat, just switch to linux!
Modern day linux distributions aren't tough to use, infact some of them might even be easier to use than windows :D

Switch to linux, where free doesn't just mean free to use, it means freedom (well with mostly everything GNU anyway)

You sure should!! Just to let you know though, you may not be able to play all multiplayer online games on there, especially aaa titles like apex; honestly though that's a good thing, games like apex have intrusive anti-cheats which can basically see everything you do on your computer, like all the sites you visit, the stuff that your run, etc.
