worst prom experience ‼️

this was the worst prom i've ever had in my 18 years of my life (ive only been to one other prom) and holy fuck 

first of all the entire event started 1 hour late. we were set to start at 5PM but we ended up starting at fucking 6PM and let me tell you i was fucking STARVING the whole time because i didn't eat that much for the whole day so i could save up for the food that was gonna be served but they had to start fucking late for some reason without telling anyone??? and then the actual program starts and oh my god is the entire venue CRAMPED we are like a pack of sardines crammed into one small singular rectangular tray. i shit you not it was so hard to move anywhere like i was shimmying my way through chairs and tables in order to get around the damn place.

and then the dinner server. the dinner service was fucking awful. just so you know there are 22 sections in my school for our batch and there are atleast 40 students per section, attending this prom. so right before we can actually eat they decided to call each individual section one by one. to go up on stage and take a class photo and THEN we can eat, the other sections who have not been called cannot eat all and just have to wait and watch for their section to be called and see other sections eat. like that was fucking horrible hello?? there are TWENTY TWO SECTIONS and you call them ONE BY ONE like there are atleast 1000 students in this prom and people are fucking starving?? its so fucking unfair too?? like what about the last sections called?? do they just have to sit, wait and starve and then take a shitty fucking photo in order to eat?? like literally one of my classmates commented that it was fucking food hostage.

the food itself was actually good. the best part was lechon oh my god it was fucking BUSSIN absolute 10/10 WORTH IT !!1!11 the other foods were okay i guess. i didn't get any to eat any of the beef stew but i did eat some of the chicken fingers and some of cordon bleu. personally the chicken fingers were meh the cordon blue was COLD and it had a weird orange lemon sauce on it, i still ate it anyways cuz i was starving. they was some really good black sambo but every time i came back for seconds they were GONE

after eating though me and my friend went around wandering and let me empathize on how TINY the walkways were cuz of all the people in big wedding ball gowns. me and my friend's weren't wearing big ball gowns; we were wearing thin skinnier ones so it was easier for us to move around but holy cow i was shimmying my way through the entire place cuz of how small it was; how many people were there; and the amount of people wearing big puffy ball gowns. either way we walk around get my other friend and decide to go to the photo booth. the photo booth honestly wasn't fucking worth it. the line itself was like 1/4 the size of the entire venue and me and my friend (they r italian) were waiting in line for atleast a good fucking 30 minutes and finally when it arrives to be our turn we are told that "sorry were gonna have to cut off now cuz the program won't continue unless everyone goes back to their seats"

HOLY SHIT WE STOOD AND WAITED FOR NOTHING !!! WHAT THE FUCKKKK LIKE WE DEADASS STOOD IN THAT  GODDAMN FUCKING LINE HELLO ???? WHAT ???

and the program was fucking resuming for a mid fucking cotillion dance by a bunch of people i don't even know, the music was too loud the dancing WASN'T EVEN A WALTZ WHEN THEY SAID IT WAS GONNA BE ONE!!

god it was the most mid experience because after that they were doing nominees for prom and honeslty i don't give a shit i don't care i don't want to vote ehhh i don't even know most of these people except for a couple the other games that were played were guess the lyric challenge and it literally lasted 5 minutes and then it moved on i was so fucking done with this shit because my grade 10 prom set the STANDARD it was AMAZING and this one was so boring and mid.

my mom got kinda pissy and some parents that the prom was ending at 10 (it was originally supposed to end at 9) but i got out easily bcuz there were that many people who were upset at it ending late and not at the supposed time so whatever.

overall worse prom a fucking 2/10; fucking 1 star; would never experience again i hope i don't have another prom
