In todays blog I'll be rating my top 10 fav horror movie's and why you should watch them!
Horror is such a beautiful form of film, call it cheesy but there is such wonder in seeing the Beauty in death and gore, when you start to see joy en wonder in the darkest corner's you'll experience pure joy.
1. Sinnester!
Ellison Oswalt, a true-crime writer, moves his family into a new home to investigate the unsolved murder of a family so that he can write a new banger book, the house is bloody cursed but the killer is not who you think, just watch it 10/10
2. Saw 10
In Saw X, the story takes place between the events of Saw and Saw II. John Kramer (Jigsaw) travels to Mexico for a medical procedure, hoping to cure his cancer. However, he discovers he's been scammed by a group of con artists pretending to offer a cure. Fueled by rage and betrayal, John sets up his own twisted game to make them pay. As he orchestrates a series of deadly traps, he not only seeks vengeance but also confronts his own sense of morality and justice. Saw X delves deeper into John Kramer's past, shedding light on his transformation into the infamous Jigsaw killer. It more focused on John instead of being focussed on 10 billion like the last few saw movie's (don't even get me started on spiral). I've always been a big fan of the saw series but never could to see one in the cinema bc I was to young, until saw 10 it was the first horror movie I saw in the cinema. 10/10
3. Trick 'r Treat
Trick 'r Treat is a Halloween-themed horror anthology that weaves together several stories, all connected by the mysterious figure of Sam, a creepy child-like creature wearing an orange pumpkin mask. The film explores different aspects of Halloween traditions: a high school principal with a dark secret, a group of kids pulling a deadly prank, a woman with a deadly obsession, and more. Each story unfolds on Halloween night, showing the consequences of ignoring the holiday’s rules. The movie’s eerie atmosphere, playful yet sinister tone, and interconnected tales make it a cult favorite for Halloween lovers. 9.9/10
4. Final Destination
It's funny, it's gory and I personally LOVE unique death like they use in sinister, saw and final destination unlike most horror movie that are just knife or axe stabs boring!!! but yeaFinal Destination is just a nice watch for non-horror fans and horror fans not scary but still fun. 8/10
5. A Nightmare on Elm Street
A Nightmare on Elm Street is a slasher horror film that blends supernatural terror with psychological suspense. Directed by Wes Craven, it introduces Freddy Krueger, a villain who haunts and kills people in their dreams. The film is known for its innovative special effects, disturbing imagery, and blending of dream and reality. It's a cult classic that redefined 80s horror, combining slasher tropes with a supernatural twist and exploring the terrifying idea that sleep itself can be deadly. 9/10
6. Pet Sematary
kitty 10/10
7. Terrifier
Like I stated before I like unique horror death (and I'm abit a sucker for some good gore) and plot wise its a pretty good movie 9/10
8. Nosferatu (2025)
Nosferatu (2025), directed by Robert Eggers, brings a chilling new twist to the 1922 silent horror classic. Set in 19th-century Germany, the film follows Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult) as he travels to Transylvania to assist the mysterious Count Orlok (Bill Skarsgård) with a real estate transaction. But what starts as a routine job soon turns into a nightmare, as Orlok’s dark obsession with Hutter's wife, Ellen (Lily-Rose Depp), leads to terrifying consequences.
While the film is undeniably beautiful and packed with eerie moments, some critics note that it may lack the emotional depth some horror fans crave. Still, for those who appreciate dark, atmospheric horror and stunning visuals, Nosferatu(2025) is a great re-make of the classic original (one of the only time's a re-make was really needed, not to Digg at the original but that mc'er was 105 years old💀) also, watch out you will get flashed in this movie 7/10 (-1 for the dickflash)
9. Scary Movie
I'm a sucker for funny shit, this might be a parody but I love all the references and overall just fun. 9/10
10.Chucky
wel what can I say, its a classic evryone knows 8/10
