Blessed Be Fellow Witches!! This is my post showing off my altar currently. It is a bit messy from ash and herbs I use in my craft but I really like the current layout! Some people claim showing off your altar makes you a target but I think it's nice to show others how you set it up if they want to see and even give inspiration. Or to also remind that your altar does not need to be perfect!

i don't know sh1t about paganism, but i'm really interested, what all of this do/represents?
Most things are multipurpose! Like candles can be used for praying or for spell work or to seal things. Statues are good for worship and crystals cleanse energies and help with spells and vibes and just look pretty. I have a lot of incense holders too since i love smoke cleansing the most but i do have a bell for sound cleansing. The drawers hold most of my herbs too for spells and such. I also have so many decks for divination and a crystal ball for it too! But the nice thing is an altar is often made to you! Sure some things are "needed" for certain practices (Like wicca is a lot of polar energies so you need like a male and female goddess to balance out). Or like athame and wands to harness energy forward but you dont need both i just happen to have both.

Mainly i just use them as decoration and i do spell jars so tiny crystals can go in those or crystals around a candle to enhance the vibes. Or carrying them around for good vibes and luck out of the house
