Chapter 1: Shadow of Destiny (page 2)

You could see Abdülhamid his confusion and worries in his eyes. Suddenly he entered his mother's room and couldn't see her there. He went back to the servants who were waiting in the hallway.

While everyone tried to be patience and cried quietly, Abdülhamid had to stutter "where is mom ?" 

Afterwards Mehmed Fuad pasha came into the hallway 

"The Sultan is waiting for you, şehzade " 

Abdülhamid looked into his eyes and wanted to be brave in the presence of the Sultan Abdülmecid. It was dead silent only the footsteps of Mehmed Fuad Pasha and the soldiers were heard. When they arrived at the largest room of the Yildiz Palace, Abdülhamid was a bit nervous. He never been in this room before, only Pashas or important businessmen and soldiers were allowed to be here in the presence of Sultan Abdülmecid. Mehmed Fuad pasha said with a dry and sad voice that Abdülhamid must enter the room alone. 

It was the first time he was alone with his father in a room, there always were other people with him. He wanted to be brave and tried to give his best in the presence of the Sultan. 

The door was closed by one of the soldiers. Abdülhamid tooked a few steps towards to Sultan Abdülmecid, he looked depressed and quite out of the window.
