MY MOM IZ SOOO UNFAIR :((((

soooo for a lil bit of context, i've always wanted a small pet that i could keep in a terrarium, like a bug or a reptile, but my mom is your usual boring white lady that doesn't like anything that's "unusual".

yesterday i went to a plant & pet shop with my nan and my grandpa cuz they wanted to buy a few potted plants, so meanwhile i went to look at the animals, and guess what i see?

THIS ABSOLUTE CUTIE PIE OF A BEARDIE

i waved at this little guy jokingly and he actually got closer to the glass and tilted his head, which could mean nothing but i find it adorable. i don't have any previous experience handling reptiles so i started looking for any info i could find, and when i got home i told my mom and she said no! y? because it "grosses her out"

i offered my mom to clean my whole room instead of her (basically just mopping the floor because the rest of the cleaning i do myself) so that she wouldn't have to go near it and she still said no

BUT this morning the second my sister asked my mom for a rabbit my mom immediately said "we'll think about it sweetie". MY SISTER WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THAT RABBIT we all know that because we know she gets bored of things and just leaves them and doesn't think about them ever again, besides we have a beagle and they're specifically bred to hunt so he would probably eat it

so why does SHE get to maybe have a rabbit and i can't have a beardie?
