how the HELL am i supposed to pirate after effects now?? this is pissing me off so bad because literally the day i choose to take the initiative and try to learn to edit the fucking subreddit gets banned - and i am NOT paying that absurd price for after effects. I heard its on lemmy..i think its called? and the discord is still up, but im just confused on the whole thing >:( The irony of banning the genP subreddit and not r/piracy??? plus theres probably worse subreddits that r still up.

hi, just coming by to say there's still a lot of tools for piracy :) i saw you said you're on windows, so i will say that monkrus still has working stuff!
if you absolutely want to use genP, a guy who worked on a windows 7 theme for windows 10 (and sort of windows 11) forked genp and make some edits! unfortunately his crack is on his discord, and the link will die after a day if i put it here, so... link to the discord and the file is here!
in the future consider using megathread to look for more options!

piracy isnt hard, just download a free vpn (i use proton personally) and get stuff for your fav torrenting site
i was specifically tryna pirate adobe and now i’ve got it but my pc wont let the app run without giving me a virus warning and insta deleting it soo :-|

just disable the security in settings
windows security app > virus and threat protection > manage settings > real time protection > off
i dont use windows much anymore so i apoligize if this is no longer the way to disable security
also, to pirate you should torrent (unless this is a file from a freind). if its an executable, its likely actually a virus. deluge is a great app for torrenting. a good site for torrents is rutracker.org. for adobe products, search M0nkrus [adobe product] and select your wanted software with a green checkmark. an * on the side means its unverified, meaning it could be a virus. checkmarks are verified and safe to download.

Did genP allow direct links to pirated content? r/piracy doesn't allow direct links which it why it hasn't been banned yet.
