should we just be friends??

ok i had already posted a blog about me and my ex and how she's single again and i thought it was a sign that we're going to get back together like we promised. so basically weve kind of been talking again but only in a gc with her two best friends which happened be my ex ish best friend and my guy friend that was the one who introduced all of us but we and my guy friend let's call him jack ok so jack is in my class and he knew both of us as we were together he set us up so he was always on both sides of us and i told that i thought we might get back together since she's single and i still really like her well dumb o him told her and she texted me and said she just wants to be friends its been an hour and i still haven't replied cus im fine with the fact she doesn't like me i understand that but i know i still like love her and its going to drive me insane just being friends so i dont know what to do or say
