⋆౨ৎ diy italian charm watch ˚⟡˖ ࣪

i've always wanted those cute italian charm bracelets, but im not that much of a bracelet-wearer. but i do need a wristwatch... so why not combine the functionality of a watch with the aesthetics of italian charm bracelets?

the idea didn't really spring up in my head like that lol. i was already in the process of buying charms for a bracelet but then i saw a tiktok acc that sold italian charm watches. that's when i thought more about it and decided i could do that instead!

i bought a couple of cute charms, some plain ones, a thrifted head watch and this tool to help separate and link the charms (˵ •̀ ᴗ •́ ˵ ) ✧

when i finished linking them together, i had to change the battery since it wasn't working anymore.

i couldn't find the hinge where you could insert the head of your screw into and pop it off, so i had to find a different way. i watched a tutorial on youtube that helped, albeit unconventional- but hey, it worked!

i just had to hot glue my makeup brush on the back, twist it a little and POP! it's open :3

this is how it looks like!! im really proud of it! while linking the charms was kinda hard, the tool really helped me. i even had to use the scissors on some of them to pry it open lol.

i def recommend doing this! it's like a one-of-a-kind watch that only you have and that you designed yourself!! hehe i can't wait to wear it out soon :3
