Its been rough going for SURE, especially when I am trying to lose weight!
Forming routines is like forming habits, you gotta just keep trying even if you fail sometimes, eventually the habit forms.
I work 100% from home right now, so I've had to sit down and write out a schedule for myself. When to get up, when I start work, when to take breaks, when to workout, when to eat, when to go to bed, etc. After that, I put tasks in my phone calendar for things I tend to miss on my schedule (like breaks, medication, workout). Workout specifically, I have the week scheduled out as Mon-chest/tri, Tues-Back/Bi, Wed-shoulder/forearm, Thur-Core, Fri-Legs (though I also do squats/calf raises and cardio every day). The weekends are a rest for me, but if you want to incorp something on the weekends then get it!
Having the schedule actually physically written down on my desk and on my kitchen whiteboard really helps me out! I don't always succeed at keeping on track, but I'm doing better at it every week

@guitarninja! I would be pissed at my workout and the computer at the same time! I'd end up throwing my computer out the window then weeping in the corner (fetal position)

If you use windows, I wrote a program that takes over the top 50 pixels of your screen with daily work out tasks that make casino sounds as you complete them and you get back your full screen when you're finished with your workouts.

I've been trying and failing to keep a schedule but I've resigned myself to waiting until the gyms open up again... if you're pressed for a routine, I recommend this website (linked), which has served me well when I can keep the motivation.
