List Of Specific Things I’m Interested In (In No Specific Order) Part 1

Will be updating often, and will write more about all of these.

  • Stickers.

  • Art.

  • Animation.

  • DVD’s.

  • CD-ROM’s.

  • CD’s.

  • Books.

  • Making stuff.

  • My OC’s.

  • Stationary.

  • Solarpunk (as both an aesthetic and movement).

  • All sorts of aesthetics and styles.

  • The act of preservation through both physical (which I personally prefer) and digital means (i.e. DVD's, CD's, books, journals, hard drives, generally owning things).

  • Being uniquely creative, thinking outside of the box and generally creating (I LOVE PEOPLE LIKE THIS AND I'D LOVE TO MEET THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE).

  • Sticky notes.

  • Modding and emulation.

  • Generally learning about new things (I love learning things so much).

  • Planning and organizing (such as journals).

  • Zettelkasten (I want to start one at some point).

  • Ranting about my interests or things I'm learning (I want to listen and read more about what other people are interested in as well).

  • Plushies (I cannot express how much I love and cherish plushies, I wish I could take them out with me to places and do things with them like going on picnics or going on an adventure. I really want to meet another person or people that enjoy plushies as much as I do).

  • Travelling (aaaa I want to get a van at some point and just randomly travel all across Australia with no real destination).

  • Masks (I wish I could wear masks in public but I'm way too scared to).

  • Decorating things (decorating things is such a personal thing, like you own said thing. Why not decorate it and customise it? And I do, it's so much fun doing so).

  • Toys/fidget toys (I hate my younger self so much for getting rid of my toys for thinking that, "oh I'm growing up I should get rid of these" like so what if you're growing up who cares play with toys all you want regardless of your age).

  • Buying things second hand (I loooove giving things a second (or more) life, like it's nice to recycle and reuse things that someone was initially going to get rid of).

  • Crayons.

  • Quizzes and surveys.

  • Journaling.

  • OP Shops. (Thrift Stores).

  • Fairy Lights and Christmas lights.

  • Trinkets.

  • Bugs.

  • Animals In General (My favourites being, ducks, red pandas, foxes, and cats).

  • Cameras and photography.

  • MP3/FLAC files and MP3 players.

  • Corkboards (I love decorating mine).

  • Brushable toys. (Yes I am counting this as a separate one just because I can. I really enjoy randomly brushing my toy’s hair, it’s fun).

  • Arcades and claw machines.

  • Gimmicky consoles. (My favourite being my 3DS but I also really love the Wii (even though it’s REALLY ANNOYING TO TRY AND EMULATE)).

  • Glitter gel pens. (I hate glitter to hell and back but I love glitter gel pens).

  • Patterns. (Especially in clothing).

  • Cosplays.

  • Buttons and beads.

  • The concept of the internet as a whole. And the many cool and unique websites.

  • Button pins, keychains, enamel pins, etc.

  • Windchimes.

  • The Westminster chime. (It’s nostalgic).

  • Tiles.

  • Ribbon and lace.

  • Kandi.

  • Princess tents.

  • Normal objects that look like something else. (i.e. a clock shaped to look like a strawberry).

  • The concept of magical girls.

  • Floating islands.

  • Abandoned places and buildings.

  • Nighttime, stars, clouds, etc.

  • Glowing mushrooms.

  • Forests, nature, etc.

  • Mythical creatures.

  • Playgrounds.

  • Primary colours.

  • Astronomy.

  • Dark, cloudy days.

  • Storms.

  • Bean bags.

  • Trains and train stations.

  • Rain.

  • UV light.

  • Going to new places, exploring and adventuring, meeting new people and hearing about their experiences.

  • Jesters.

  • Old technology/single use tech. (Yes modern technology is more up to date and beneficial but there’s no charm to it. Older tech was more experimental with its designs. It would be nice if there were new phones or computers with more interesting designs).

  • Liminal spaces.

  • Jumper vests (sweater vests).

  • “Ugly” PS1 style graphics.

  • Nonsensical designs.

  • Stained glass.

  • Bead curtains.
