Just building social skills and social confidence is a good first step. Make and maintain friendships and when you eventually find someone you'll be better at navigation the relationship and have a support network to hold you up. No man is an island and all that
i was in your shoes before, and i promise you that this isn't something you want to rush to get. i understand how it feels seeing everyone around you get a partner, but it will happen naturally to you soon enough. don't settle for anyone who likes you because you think they'll be the only one that does, because that is not true. make friends with people around you and you'll naturally find someone who will click with you platonically and romantically. it's okay to take it slow. you don't have to match paces with anyone. i promise you that you'll have someone soon with all of this in mind.

I usually just wait for one to spawn next to the spawner, or I buy one and they ship it the next day.
