I love what crk did with dark cacao and mystic flour (analysis?)

I'm not sure if they had flavours and such in mind, but here's my take on them!

DARK CACAO COOKIE

Cacao has a bitter, more complex flavour that is rough to the senses at first, but leaves a lovely aftertaste just like most other bitter things. Raw and unprocessed, you are the one to seize something out of it by giving it a chance. Just like dark cacao cookie's resolution, no? He gave life a chance, even if it seemed pointless and difficult, only seemed to bring suffering. He learned that as pointless and bitter of a cycle it is, you can still get something out of it while you're still alive. And funny how dark chocolate is way more expensive than your average sugarcoated milk chocolate, yet much healthier.

MYSTIC FLOUR COOKIE

Flour based foods are much easier to eat, provide much more instant gratification, and are way more common among your average working class people who usually lead a more simple life, albeit physically arduous. Less likely to ask for too much because they haven't had the chance to obtain that much luxury, let alone be greedy for more. But after the sweetness of bread and pasta fades, you are left with nothing, Upon being put to eternal sleep, you are also left with nothing. The price is emptiness. Choosing the easy path just to fall victim to a different form of greed. The greed of seeking escape from the bitterness, the very essence of life.

DUALNATURE

Quite interesting, right? Two different routes, both come with a price of their own. Everyone needs a little bitterness, and a little sweet break of escapism in their lives. All to a healthy, balanced extent. Resolution and apathy are equally horrible and clash in extremes, but great together in balance. Yin and yang. Even dark cacao cookie brought more balance to himself after awakening and understood the importance of a little break from the bitterness which we can see from his new lines. And even from how he realized that he should have given his son more love. His dragons also reflect the importance of balance and letting clashing values complement each other and unite their powers instead of pointlessly, endlessly tearing each other down. Just as complementary colors can be used to emphasize the more important parts of a painting or a design. Notice how the main colors of these two also complement each other? Dark and light of yin and yang aside, we can see purple and yellow. Cool, amirite? A warrior and a bodhisattva, the physical and the spiritual. Very cool indeed, if you ask me.

And so, that's my interpretation of the beautiful allegory behind these two characters. The topic is quite dear to me as someone who has had both mindsets. Which do I think is the best option? Depends on who you are, what you stand for, your circumstances, and so on. As in, a fluid balance. No need to adhere to anything strictly, for we are just as fluid and fleeting. Just don't force anything onto anyone the way our dear mystic flour cookie did, lmao. That's the only thing that makes her a bit of a villain in my opinion as her intentions were good and I'm not exactly against the concept of wanting to exit the cycle, even though nowadays I'm starting to believe it is rather impossible both physically and mentally. Anyways, thank you and wish you a lovely day, dear reader!

I think I'll wait for beast yeast ep 10 first before I talk too much, but in the meantime I might make a post about shadow milk cookie cause I accidentally got a little fixated on him. No promises tho cause I am tired as hell these days lmao. Either way, I'm super glad you enjoyed my little rant! And eternal sugar really has me impatient for how her story will evolve cause I adore how well she represents dependency and how it traps you in its falsely comfortable little cage while slowly and unnoticeably poisoning you (get it??? cause she's a poison type!!), much like any addictive recreational substance
