yapping about the adventure of my two persona q copies and why i modded my 3ds

okay so this is my favorite lore of mine tm

alright so all of this happened around late october most of november

i wanted to play persona q like one does and i like buying physical media so i got a used copy of it from gamestop like one does and when i got the game and it kept fucking crashing couldnt even get past the first part of the game without it crashing so i looked it up turned out the earlier cartridges were faulty do to manufacturing issues i looked more into it and turns out ones with certain numbers on the back are faulty so i tried to find which are faulty becuz i really didnt wanna pirate it so i found one on ebay that i thought would work it got here and i really believed it was gonna i booted it up and things seems fine i was able to beat the first dungeon no problem things and then mid way through the second dungeon my game crashed and my 3ds just stopped reading the card after that and note yes for both cartridges i tried cleaning them in multiple ways

i had heard from someone that with a modded 3ds you can do a cart refresh on games which lead to me thinking about hmm maybe i should try modding my 3ds i had already wanted to i was just scared becuz i only own one working 3ds after some thinking i did mod my 3ds i think it took like 2-4 hours i dont recall it being all that hard just abit tedious i then tried to see if the cart refresh would work it didnt my 3ds couldnt even read it in the cart refresher meaning the issue with the second cartridge was an interal issue with my cartridge that couldnt be easily fixed by someone who doesnt know what they are doing

i then tried emulating it on now modded 3ds turned out i didnt have enough space easy fix but i now had to wait for the new sd card after getting the new sd card in i was able emulate it then it was just a matter of getting back to where i was which i did do yippe funny thing tho is that i have yet to even finish the game spite going through that hell

also yes i can and should have just either pirated it or modded my 3ds after the first cartridge didnt work but im a stubborn and determined creature and also alittle stupid

please for the love of god pirate persona q if you wanna play it dont be stupid and wastful like me
