monday bento

chicken nuggets with rice, apple slices + grapes and some crackers

my little sister doesn't really like apples, but it was prob the only available fruit left (asides grapes), so she had no choice lol. i also got to try making them into bunnies!! it was trial and error but it was fun to do + i learned a new way to garnish!

tuesday bento

tuna mayo onigiri, scrambled eggs, mini banana pancakes and grapes

we bought this canned tuna from japan and my little sister is obsessed with it. i decided to mix it up with some kewpie and stuff it in some rice to make some tuna mayo onigiris :3. i used the wrap-around method with the nori cause it was a little oily and it would make it easier to hold. i also topped it off with the leftover tuna mayo on top!

the scrambled eggs were fairly simple, the one i had fun making the most were the mini banana pancakes! i just slice up some bananas and dipped it in pancake batter! the banana slices made it easier to actually shape the pancakes lol. i topped it off with nutella !!

(my little sister came home saying this was probably her fave bento!)

wednesday bento

hotodog slices, boiled eggs, hashbrowns and cucumber slices

the night before, the furikake i ordered online finally arrived! i decided to use it in this bento :3. it was my first time trying the seasoning out and IT WAS SO GOOD!!

the cucumber slices were a little too plain so i wanted to cut the middle with the star mold :3 ~ the hashbrowns were cut so they could fit in the container!

my little sister also loved this bento, she says the furikake was really good

i only got to make three since she didn't have class on thursday and had to go on a three-day trip starting on friday ^^ im really getting the hang of this bento making, i hope i could try making some japanese curry or some katsu next time!
