i've had this issue for awhile now where i can't seem to dedicate time to minecraft anymore. i just get super bored and drained really quickly while playing it, it's just not really fun to me anymore. but, i recently decided to try playing an older version (1.7.2) and instantly fell in love with minecraft again. they feel like completely different games. old minecraft is a joy to play. even though i know everything that's in it, it still feels like it retains the element of mystery that old minecraft had. i started this 1.7.2 world this past tuesday and i've already sunk nearly 9 hours into it over the course of 3 days. to say i'm hooked would be an understatement.
i found my issue with new minecraft: it feels soulless and empty compared to the spirit that older versions had. i'll be sticking to older versions from now on.

Its cuz u delved more time in it and well, nostalgia, but even that, glad ur having fun with mc!
been loving minecraft again. been playing my solo survival world as well as some pvp/hunger games servers. its so nostalgic but it's also just a genuinely good time. need to start a new realm with the bois if i can get em to play older versions lol
