april '25 stats

another monthly loopback... i think this one will be short, though, nothing's really happened. been super busy with school especially. but i am not gonna talk about school!!!!! because school has already taken up most of my brain and other web spaces!!! i'm tired of it!!! (plus if you're my friend, then i've been talking abt it way too often in bulletins too... i'm sorry ㅠㅠ)

anyway.

started another outside site, mostly as a code playpen for myself. i think when i have more stuff in it, i'm going to add the button to my profile. but until then. the first things i wanna get out of the way are pages for my fave music artists, probs spaces for various show rambles too.

went to a huge college... event... thing? fair? open house? idk how to describe it, but. to be honest it wasn't super exciting, didn't learn much, though it was nice to explore the campus and actually see inside the halls and stuff. their band was also pretty good-- hearing and watching them perform sort of made me miss being in band myself, but i'd have to audition to be in the college band and i haven't played in years, so...

admittedly the most exciting thing to happen that day was that i found an at the drive-in compilation cd with a little dvd, for a low price too!!! i know compilation cds sometimes aren't looked upon that fondly, but i liked all the songs on it. if you like at the drive-in too, what songs do you like? i want to find more, but am not sure where to start.

did a full restore on the 6g blue nano i picked up some time ago, and the battery seems to be working better now that it has less songs on it? does that make sense at all, or am i looking at it all wrong? (also accidentally left my 3g gray nano in the sun for too long and now the screen looks bad... but it's still completely functional and sounds as good as always, so i'm not too upset about it. just a facepalm sort of sentiment.)

on a particularly bad week i ate chicken adobo for multiple meals in a row-- it's such a cozy dish, a top comfort food for me. even just the way it smells when i come back home melts the tension from my nerves. admittedly the last few days of april were really rough, so i hope this coming month will be a little softer and comfier, especially with the warmer weather coming soon...

layout i had this month: sweet n sour candy redux!

- hot pink and green accents, mostly

- continued reign of helvetica neue… i love that font.

- three columns, with nav and footer in leftmost column

- columns had dotted borders and box shadow

- added images for before and after footer, before blog preview

- images in blurbs had titles on hover! ehehe~

- most images were from gokusen ii, bcuz yabuki is forever

- pfp of 2005 akanishi with newspaper(?) & sunglasses

- song was thankful by vono, then secret secret by perfume for last 2-3 days
