「5.1.25」spring rebirth ☆

Springgg is hereeee!!!! Time to dump all my thoughts! 

I want to spend less time scrolling and more time reading like I used to. I've started to dread posting on apps like tt and insta. I LOVE the hundreds of mutuals I have on there, but it's so emotionally draining imo... I was stressed, then I remembered... I literally don't have to do anything that I don't want to do LOL 😭 I don't plan to neglect my moots on there though dw! So yeah, im back to doing what I enjoy: Rambling randomly, disappearing to recharge my social battery, and repeating that cycle. And I find that this place, along with tumblr, is where I feel most comfortable doing that!  Everyone's in their own little world, and there's no pressure to get likes, responses, or anything of the sort! Okay, onto the actual recap!

I've had "Real" by Kendrick Lamar on loop all month, but he doesn't have a Bandcamp... broken heart emoji

♡ games i played this month:

Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns- Wayyyy better than the original SoS I used to play. The controls are so much better, and I like the storyline and characters so much more. I only really play this one nowadays! I love farming games if it's not obvious lol.

Schedule 1- Obsessed with watching Case play it and tried it myself. I love games you can mindlessly play for hours, and this is definitely one of them, imo! And the music is really good and relaxing despite the whole plot of the game lololol.

Miitopia- Because of the new Tomodachi Game that I KNEW was coming (despite being told to give up and accept that it wasn't)! I WAS RIGHT! I love my Miis and wish we had more games to use them in, so I've been playing this a lot. 

Pokemon Moon- blah blah we all know pokemon is good but MIMIKYU MY BABY I LOVE YOU

♡ movies and shows i watched:

BTW all my ratings are judged on how things make me feel tbh. I don't care to be a movie snob, and definitely not a cinephile lol. I don't enjoy overanalyzing every second of a movie 💔

Mufasa- 7/10 (mostly because of nostalgia tbh). I liked it… Some of the singing had me laughing/cringing a bit, but I think it's just because I don't like musicals/live singing. I just can't be serious while watching a character randomly break out in song 😭 I honestly understand why Scar acted like that if one of my siblings stole my crush, I would tweak tf out about it too tf?? kinda late, but I love waiting till the hype dies down to watch movies.

Beloved- 8/10. One of my mom's favs. Very uncomfortable, but I kinda loved it tbh. I usually have a hard time watching movies that surround slavery because alot of them feel perverted asf like they are meant for people who get off to black pain more than anything. But I didn't really feel that way with this movie. I teared up a lot lol... probably because I see my family members in so many of the characters. Definitely not something to watch with the whole family tho (trust me 💔)

Yokai Watch- I only watch this when im sleeping, but I will never pass up on a chance to mention my goat Komasan

I also want to see Sinners soon, it's been so long since I've been to the movies!

♡ what i read this month:

Crime and Punishment- I read it on my 2DS XL, actually! There's a game you can buy on eBay called “100 Classic Book Collection” and you can read on there! Not the best device to read on, but I only do it when im bored and want to be away from my phone. I just started, so I don't have much to say abt it lol.

Phantom Busters- So good omg if anyone is reading please read this oh my blob… I love stuff involving the paranormal (obviously… if my acc didn't make that clear enough), I love media about exorcists, and I was starving for a new one.
