The Easter Bunny - Creepypasta

This event happened early on Easter Day... I was having breakfast at home while my parents were cleaning the house for the holiday. That day my uncles, cousins, and grandparents were coming. After breakfast, I decided to call my girlfriend and asked her if she wanted to come to my house. She happily accepted and said she would arrive at 2:00 p.m. I finished my breakfast and went to the garden, I wanted to get some air when my 6-year-old brother appeared holding a chocolate egg. I asked him who gave it to him since they hadn't placed it around the house yet. My brother replied:

—It was the Easter bunny.

Being a child and not wanting to ruin it by saying that the Easter bunny didn't exist, I said:

—How lucky you were...maybe you'll find more eggs.

He said yes, I didn't make a big deal out of it and decided to go inside my house to play video games. Then my brother came in with three chocolate eggs and I said:

—Did you find any more eggs?

To which he said yes, he gave me one to try and I ate it...its flavor was so rich as if it were from another world, I asked him who gave it to him and he continued with the same answer but I told him to be serious but he with an uncomfortable face told me that the rabbit gave it to him, I thought that my parents gave it to him so that he would think that the rabbit exists

It was 2 in the afternoon, my family and my girlfriend arrived and I decided to walk outside the house with her, my parents would go out to buy some things that were missing for lunch, then he put me in charge of my 3 little cousins and my brother who were playing in the yard while the other members of the family talked, I accepted and then I started talking to my girlfriend about some things, nothing interesting to be honest but I enjoyed spending time with her. At that point I realized that my cousins and brother were nowhere to be found. I looked inside and outside the house but couldn't find them. I didn't tell my family because I didn't want to worry them, but there was one place missing: the forest. My house was near a forest. My girlfriend and I decided to slowly enter the forest. We saw some chocolate eggs on the ground, and we kept finding each other, from one egg to a basket. I don't know why, but I started to think that what my brother was saying was true until my girlfriend called me and we both saw two huge footprints in the ground. I started to get scared, but my girlfriend encouraged me to keep looking for my cousins and brother. We kept walking until we found a cave. Unfortunately, I had left my cell phone at home, but my girlfriend told me she had brought hers, so she lent it to me.

We entered the cave, I put the cell phone in flashlight mode and walked little by little, there were many eggs, then we heard a scream and we headed there and we saw it ... we saw a giant rabbit stained with blood eating a child, it was a cousin, in a corner I saw my other cousins and my brother who were kidnapped, then the rabbit began to do something ... it drank blood and began to make something ... I had a vomiting attack but I decided to hold it for the good of everyone, now I had to save them, we began to come up with a plan but then the rabbit looked at us, its eyes were black and had blood, that thing began to run where we were, I saw a giant rock and knocked down the rabbit, we ran to get my cousins and brother out as quickly as possible and when we headed to the exit the rabbit came out of the rock

We all ran behind some bushes and hid ... but one of my cousins saw a chocolate egg and decided to go for that chocolate, when I realized that the rabbit went for it and He bit his neck…

My brother screamed and the rabbit “saw” us so we all scattered everywhere. I grabbed my brother’s hand and ran with him. I noticed my cousin fell and…

My brother and I hid behind some trees when I ran into my girlfriend. I hugged her, very worried, and she said:

“Run with your brother. I’ll distract that thing, okay? If I don’t make it out alive, I want you to know that I love you.”

We shared our last kiss. I grabbed my brother’s hand and decided to run as fast as possible out of the woods. My girlfriend came out of hiding and lunged at the rabbit, attacking it with its “eyes.” The more I looked back, the more I knew she wouldn’t get out. I regret that… My brother tripped and fell to the ground, hitting his head. I picked him up and, with my last bit of strength, kept running and fell to the ground

I woke up and looked around, my family and the police were there, I saw my brother was on a stretcher, my mother hugged me crying, I hugged her back with tears in my eyes, then a police officer arrived, they wanted to interview me but I knew they wouldn’t believe me…no one would and they would probably take me to a mental hospital or something, I stayed quiet and then the police went to inspect the forest where they only found the bodies of my cousins and my girlfriend, also the bodies of other children and chocolate eggs, my question is “where did that rabbit come from?” a question I think I’ll never answer…unless I see it again.
