why i LOVE counter strike source

i have never played cs:go because my computer sucked until i got a new one this christmas, which might be why i love cs:source. it's the closest thing i can get to cs:go. the one gripe i have is the bot lobbies. god i hate the bot lobbies. still fun though. i'm also really glad there's achievements. it's so fun as a new player to get achievements in counter strike, compared to NO achievements being added to cs2.

the atmosphere is great too. i've got around 90 hours in gmod, and cs:source feels just like playing gmod. another thing: now i can play some of the mods for gmod!!! counter strike source has some assets devs use in gmod mods and maps, and now i can enjoy those maps as much as possible!

another cool thing is how many gimmick gamemode lobbies there are. by "gimmick", i mean stuff that isn't defuse or hostage. there's a bunch of gun game lobbies, ttt lobbies, jailbreak, and i'm sure there's some more, but that's just what i've seen. i'm not too interested in all that other stuff as much as gun game though, that's an incredibly fun game. it's so cool. i just wish they'd make the maps bigger sometimes. or maybe we could play on dust2, or nuke, instead of something some dude cobbled together in blender 20 years ago.

overall rating: 8.5/10. it's a super fun experience

9.5/10 adding the fact that it's the cs:go i never got. i just didn't put it in the final rating because that's a me thing
