Normally, I'm against taking days off concerning my safety or health, because 98% of the time I'm completely fine. My track record's practically impeccable, I have quite a lot of friends (that includes you, dear reader, should you find this), and in general, I've felt physically and mentally stable. 

There do happen some times when I buckle under pressure (see >>007<< or >>008<<), and now this has culminated in me getting sick with a sore throat. Which, yikes, but at least I got a podcast episode done BEFORE I had to wear a mask.

I'm also suspecting pollen allergy may be in play because the symptoms align with that, but I'm not 100% confident.

What I do know is I'll need some time off my real-life commitments and take the May holidays off.
