Sasscore is such an awesome subgenre

Sasscore is that subgenre that I almost never shut up about when I talk about music. Something about it's overly flamboyant approach to things and comical attitude... it's truely something to love. It's a sassy, hip-shakin' earworm that makes you wanna danceeeeee but also rip off your skin!!! Doesn't that sound absolutely awesome? 30 minute albums filled with gay aliens shooting lasers and thrusting their hips in the tightest skinny jeans you've seen.

Before I start talking about favorite sasscore bands and albums, I also wanna touch on whitebelt, sasscore's grindier brother, real quick. That subgenre is absolutely insane. It's much grittier, abrasive, and discordant while still keeping that weird and sassy motif. This is the stuff that really makes you feel like your ears are being cut off. It's also a little more difficult to pinpoint a whitebelt band compared to sass in my opinion because whitebelt can become so many other things that may drown out that sassy element at first. Cool subgenre anyways!!
