Been over a month cigarette, alcohol, and soda free! It feels really nice to commit to these changes. I originally wanted to quit smoking when I was twenty seven, but didn't end up doing it.
I did promise myself I'd quit before I turned thirty, and with that being right around the corner, I knew it was time.
I had to stop drinking in order to quit smoking, anyone who smokes knows a cigarette goes with a cocktail, like peanut butter goes with jelly.
Now that I've spent some time sober, I think I may continue to stay so. I partied pretty hard for a long time, and it was starting to lose it's sparkle.
Soda is just empty calories, and a ton of sugar, so I figured I'd put that behind me as well, now that I'm getting on track to living a little healthier.
Although, throughout this journey, I've turned into a bit of a chocoholic, but it's only a couple squares at night!
I can taste, and smell so much better now, and my chest feels lighter. My mouth also feels more clean, and less dry.
To anyone trying to quit, you got this! And to anyone who wants to continue smoking, do whatever you want! Because it's your life, not mine. 🥰
