Moving & Changes

Welcome back to my blog luvlies <3

I have some big changes happening here in 2025! This is the year I am moving out of my own Province for the first time! It's wild where life will carry you, I never thought I would ever move, yet the year for change is here! I am most nervous about who I will meet when I move, What I will do when I get there, and most importantly, I am going to dearly miss the Friends I have made here in Carman!

I am moving to Kenora, Ontario so if you are from there be sure to say hi! I'll certiently be looking for friends! 18+ ofc!

Does anyone have any tips for a young adult stepping out into the world and leaving the nest for the first time? Would be very much appreciated <3

Heres a photo I took inside my apartment a lil bit ago: Ironically Tim Hortin's was my first job in this town, as a baker heehee

Some advice: Don't compare yourself to anyone on social media or other people around your age; It's legit the thief of joy. Everyone is on their own life path, and it's a waste of mindspace to compare your grass to anyone else's yard. Embrace all the difficult moments as well as the good ones because they let you know you are living your life. Also, something I found out WAY too late: Look for things to do in your community: Volunteer work, public events, community classes (I took a public class that was $20 to learn how to use a pressure cooker for canning!). Delving into the community can not only help you find connection (and evade boredom) but can also help you meet friends. Community connections can help you in the long run (it's how I found a bunch of my work opportunities)
