i made nuka-cola from the fallout series and i need some suggestions

it's alright. i didn't make it the complicated way that was described in the fallout cookbook, i used a more.. interested method that someone recommended 

i mixed:

16 o.z regular coca-cola

16 o.z mountain dew

16 o.z vanilla coke

originally, this simple method had asked for 16 fluid ounces of cream soda, but my local store didn't have any cream soda in stock, so i had to improvise. i must say, the other way that the cookbook wrote out is definitely going to taste a lot better, but funds are tight right now, and i really don't have enough money to go out and buy the star anise seeds and the cardamom pods. i'll probably just go and order some of the custom edition jones' craft soda versions instead, but even that is pretty expensive as well. i just want to know if anyone else has tried to make it before using different methods? if not, what are some other, cheaper alternatives to try out the beloved drink from the series?
